Trochę świerzego światła na sprawę podobieństwa ak do szturma... Ma ktoś tę książkę?

On October 24, 1946, after all the specialists were taken on board, the train left Leipzig, Saxony, and arrived a fortnight laterat Ishevsk the secret Russian centre for arms development and production. Schmeisser was sent to work in Factory No 74, in which at the time of his arrival teh 27 year old Mikhail Timofeyevich Kalashnikov, a former sergent in the Tank Corps, had begun the development of what was to become the AK47.
Schmeisser stayed in Ishevsk until June of 1952, and there can be no doubt that he was one of the key designers of the first Soviet Assault rifle. A comparison between the German StG44 and the AK47 reveals the obvious similarities.
That certainly puts a new twist on the whole MP.44/AK47 debate, looks like the designer of the MP.44 (Hugo Schmeisser) worked on the AK47!
